Description: Homeopathic (Greek for "like the disease") preparation based on principle of "like cures like". Homeopathy is the dominant medical science in many parts of the world as well as in the U.S. prior to the 1900s. Method of Action: Active ingredients are Cicuta virosa 4X, Gaultheria 4X, Ignatia 4X, Staphysagria 4X, Asa foetida 3X, Corydalis formosa 3X, Hyoscyamus 3X, Sumbul 3X, Valerina officinalis 3X, Avena sativa 1X. The method of action for homeopathic preparations is currently unknown. Theories of cellular memory have emerged from the "quantum" approach to physics. One unblinded study comparing effectiveness of Anti-Anxiety and diazepam reported the two preparations were approximately equal in their clinical effectiveness.
Indications and Usage: Mild to moderate anxiety, sympathetic nervous system hyperarousal, situational stress, insomnia, phobic behavior, and hot flashes, dizziness and high blood pressure related to elevated anxiety levels. Can also be used to assist in withdrawal from benzodiazepine drugs.
Contraindications: Do not use this product if you are pregnant or lactating without first seeking advice from your physician.
Dosage and Administration: Adults and children 12 years of age and older: 20 drops in 3 ounces of water every 3 hours 4 times a day, or as directed by a homeopathic physician. Avoid caffeine, menthol, peppermint and food one-half hour before and after taking dose. For withdrawal from benzodiazepine drugs initiate use of Anti-Anxiety (30 drops 3 times per day) and begin very slow tapering schedule. Continue using Anti-Anxiety for 30 days after full discontinuation of allopathic drug.
Clinical Effect In: Varies depending on individual constitution. Generally several days but for some person's immediate effects may be experienced.
