Protocols: Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS)

Description: Initially used as TMS to study motor function, rTMS unit generates pulsed magnetic fields that are passed over cranium activating neurons near the surface of the brain.

Method of Action: Delivers biphasic pulses up to 50 per second with stimulation frequency up to 5 Hz at a 100% stimulation intensity allowing powerful and accurate electrical stimulation of deep nerves and brain tissue.

Indications and Usage: Used in treatment of Moderate-Severe Depression, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Speech and Language Disabilities, Schizophrenia. In depression has similar efficacy and indications to Electro Convulsive Therapy (ECT) without side effects commonly associated with that procedure.

Contraindications: Do not use this product if you are pregnant or lactating without first seeking advice from your physician.

Dosage and Administration: Highly individualized.

Clinical Effect In: Immediate and long-term effects.

Adverse Reactions: Mild and transient. Can trigger seizures when used improperly. No structural or body-wide chemical changes observed.
